About | ThePidgeonHole

Come and be inspired; get-in those hours of deep focused work.  And, if you're up for it, Chris, who also works from home at a global Fintech, is always open to chats and idea sharing.

The story behind the PidgeonHole begins in 2015 when owner, Chris, needing a place for deep focused work, and for those much needed Work From Home days, began drafting plans for a backyard office studio.   The PidgeonHole was designed specifically as a place where to focus deeply outside of your typical work environment, that is not your typical busy cafe, or uninspiring rental office cubicle.

Fast forward to 2019, the PidgeonHole is now used by a wide variety of freelancers including writers, digital developers and designers, pencil and pastel painters, music teachers - and of course, those needing a Work From Home day outside of the typical un-inspiring cubicle!

The PidgeonHole was built 100% by hand and blends into the landscape - if you had to remove it tomorrow, there would be little, to no environmental impact to the site.  Many of the building materials are recycled such as discarded windows, or purchased second-hand on Craigslist.  We have also planted a number of trees on site, and commit to donating $5 for every $200 spent at ThePidegonHole towards planting trees via EdenProjects
